The interviews in the beginning and the end were improvised by Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg, while in-character. They were done late night with only Bale, Wahlberg and director David O. Russell present. Bale actually became emotional and left the couch.Crying about it. I’m really horrified that I haven’t watched this yet, why haven’t I? I’m so ashamed. *runs to Netflix*
Scar go watch now! I actually still can’t get over how great Bale is. Like really really fantastic. The characters in this movie are basically my dad’s side of the family, minus the boxing, so he hits me right in the feels.
